RESOLUTION No. 76-786
Al RESOLUT ION ORDERING HAMMOCK SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT SR-5411-C (CENTERLINE SEWER) , AND
DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR A PORTION OF THE
COST THEREOF AS HAMMOCK SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT SR-5411-C (CENTERLINE SEWER) AND
ALLOCATING $5 , 000 FROM THE "SANITARY SEWER BOND
FUND" TO COVER THE COS'[' OF PRELIMINARY AND
INCIDENTAL EXPENSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A sanitary sewet improvement identified as
HAMMOCK SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR•-5411•-C (CENTERLINE SEWER)
shall be made under the pr.-ovi.s i.00s of Section 56 of the Charter
of the City of Miami, as amended, said IMPROVEMENT to be located
in the area of the City of Miami bounded by S.W. 5 Avenue on the
North; S.W. 12 Avenue on the West; F.E.C.R.R. right-of-way on the
South; and S.W. 25 Road on the E;Ast, with said IMPROVEMENT to
consist of laying an 8-inch or larger vitrified clay and/or polyvinyl
chloride and/or iron pipe sanitary sewer at or near the centerline
of the streets in the aforesaid area and; further, to consist of
laying 6-inch iron and/or- polyvinyl chloride and/or vitrified clay
pipe laterals, as required, to lots and parcels of land which abut
upon the following streets, including the lots and parcels of
land described in Section 2 hereof, together with necessary manholes,
other appurtenances, pump stations, connections to existing sewers,
relaying street pavement, sidewalks, and curb and gutters where
such
relaying is made necessary by this IMPROVEMENT:

Section 2. Special assessments for a portion of the cost
of said HAMMOCK SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5411-C (CENTERLINE
SEWER) shall be levied upon all the lots and parcels of land
which abut upon the above -mentioned streets, including the follow-
ing described lots and parcels of land (which such lots and parcels
of land are hereby designated HAMMOCK SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT SR-5411-C (CENTERLINE SEWER)) and to the property line of

This IMPROVEMENT shall be designated in all
proceedings and assessents as HAMMOCK SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
SR-5411-C (CENTERLINE SEWER) and the above -described properties,
including
described
all the lots and parcels of land abutting the streets
in Section 1 hereof against which assessments shall
be made for a portion
of the cost thereof, hereunder, shall be
designated as HAMMOCK SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-
5411-C (CENTERLINE SEWER).
Section 4. The amount of $5,000 is hereby allocated from
the Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund to cover
and
the cost of preliminary
incidental expenses for said IMPROVEMENT.

This improvement willprovide sani ta.r.i sewers for approxi-
mately 120 acres presently served h y septic tanks, The
area is dense1•y populated with portivais of the area
developed multi -dwelling residential and corrunerci al. The
general boundaries of the improvements are S.W. 12 Avenue
to S.W. 25 Road from S.W. 5 Avenue to the P.F.C. Railway.
The total estimated cost of thi:, project is $650,000.
The proposed construction ha:; been designated a: HAMMOCK
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-51411-C&S (centerline and
sideline :;ewer) and will he an assessable project, under
Section 56 of the City Charter.
