A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY DEEDS
OF DEDICATION FROM REX ENGRAVING OF MIAMI, INC.
AND JULIUS MILLER, ET AL, CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES, THE WEST 5 FEET OF LOTS
12 AND 13, AND ALSO LOT 14, BLOCK 5, OF DR.
BURKHART'S WINTER GARDENS 1ST ADDITION (5-22); AND
IRECTING THE PROPER OFFICIAL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
117 t 1 0 RECORD SAME IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY,
,LORIDA.
FOLLOW„
WHEREAS, as part of the Garden Highway Improvement, the
City of Miami agreed to construct sidewalk in exchange for
the conveyance by owners of 5-foot wide strips of reserved
zoned width right-of-way across 3 contiguous lots abutting
the east side of N.W. 24 Avenue between N.W. 20 Street and
N.W. 21 Terrace; and
WHEREAS, in full agreement thereof, the subject owners
executed and delivered to the City of Miami Highway Right -
of -Way Deeds of Dedication conveying for highway purposes
their respective interests in and to the west 5 feet of Lots
12, 13 and 14, Block 5, of DR. BURKHART'S WINTER GARDENS 1ST
ADDITION (5-22); and
WHEREAS, it is now in order for the City Commission to
accept the aforesaid deeds and to have them recorded in the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
"DOCU YTN INDEX
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Highway Right -of -Way Deeds from Re
Engraving of Miami, Inc. and Julius Miller, et al, conveying
to the City of Miami for highway purposes their respective
interests in and to the West 5 feet of Lots 12, 13 and 14,
Block 5, of DR. BURKHART'S WINTER GARDENS 1ST ADDITION (5-22)
be, and the same are hereby accepted.
Section 2. The proper official of the City of Miami be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to record same in

The owners of 5-foot wide strips of reserved zoned width right-of-way
abutting the subject avenue agreed to dedicate same for highway pur-
poses in exchange for the construction by the City o f sidewalk there-
in.
This would be compatible with the City'Cjtyli Garden Highway ay Improvement
now scheduled to be completed at this portion of N.W. 24 Avenue.
It is estimated that the value of the land being conveyed exceeds
the cost to the City for the aforesaid sidewalk installation.
The owners have executed and delivered to the City, Highway Right -
of Way Deeds conveying the aforesaid strips of land.

PURPOSES, THEIR RESPECTIVE INTERESTS IN AND TO THE WEST 5 FEET OF
LOTS 12, 13 AND 14, BLOCK 5, OF DR, BURKHART'S WINTER GARDENS 1ST
ADDITION (5-22); AND DIRECTING THE PROPER OFFICIAL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI TO RECORD SAME IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
