RESOLUTION NO. 76-779
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED
CONSTRUCTION BY D.M.P. CORPORATION OF
GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374 (BID "E"
DRAINAGE) IN GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT H-4373 (BID "E" DRAINAGE) AT A
TOTAL COST OF $383,928.06 AND AUTHORIZING
A FINAL PAYMENT OF $38,392.81.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated June 17,
1975 between the City of Miami and D.M.P. Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and D.M.P. Corporation has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public
Works recommend that the completed work be accepted and final
payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The completed work performed by D.M.P. Corpora-
tion under contract dated June 17,1975 for construction of GARDEN
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374 (BID "E" DRAINAGE) in GARDEN HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374 (BID "E" DRAINAGE) is accepted at
a total cost of $383,928.06.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are authorized and directed to pay D.M.P. Corporation a balance
of $38,392.81 as full and final payment for all work performed
and all materials furnished in connection with the contract for
GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374 (BID "E" DRAINAGE) in GARDEN
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374 (BID "E" DRAINAGE).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9 day of SFPTFMRER
1976.

ENCLOSURES:
D.!1. P. Corporation has completed the construction
of french drains and a covered ditch drainage system
in the vicinity of NW 20-32 Streets between NW 18-27
Avenues. This drainage was done in conjunction with

completed work and authorize final payment, after all
conditions are met. The construction was comnleeted
for $393,928.0F,, which was within the contract amount,
and it was completed on time.
