RESOLUTION NO. 76-770
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION
OP D.M.P. CORPORATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF N.E.
59 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4392 (BID "A"
HIGHWAYS) IN N.E. 59 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT H-4392 (BID "A" HIGHWAYS) AT A TOTAL
COST OF $92,080.97; AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL
PAYMENT OF $9,434.99.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated January 22, 1976
between the City of Miami and D.M.P. Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and D.M.P. Corporation has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been paid
in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held before the City
Commission on September 9, 1976 to hear any objections to`. -the
completed improvements and no objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public
Works recommend that the completed work be accepted and final
payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The completed work performed by D.M.P.
Corporation under contract dated January 22, 1976 for the construc-
tion of N.E. 59 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4392 (BID "A"
HIGHWAYS) in N.E. 59 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4392
(BID "A" HIGHWAYS) is accepted at a total cost of $92,080.97.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized and directed to pay D.M.P. Corporation a
balance of $9,434.99 as full and final payment for all work per-
formed and all materials furnished in connection with the contract
for N.E. 59 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4392 (BID "A" HIGHWAYS)
in N.E. 59 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4392 (BID "A"
HIGHWAYS).

It is now in order for the Commission to accept the
completed work and authorize final payment, after all
conditions are met. The construction was completed for
9?,OR0.97, which was within the contract amount, and it
was comnlet.ed on time.

All interested persons will take notice that the construc-
tion of street improvements in'xS 59th Street Highway tmprove-
taent District 8-4392 have been completed, and that at a meeting
of the Miami City Commission to be held at 900 o'clock A.K.
Thursday, September 9, 1976, in the City Commission Meeting
Chambers at City Hail. Dinner Noy, Miami, Florida their ob-
jections. if any, will be heard to the acceptance of these
completed improvements by the City Commission.
