ENCLOSURES
The City has received a proposal submitted by Mr. Cesar V. Sandoval,
President, Marine Stadium Water Sports Rental Inc,, for the
establishment of a water oriented concession in the lagoon
adjacent to the Rusty Pelican Restaurant.
The proposal requests a one-year lease agreement and offers
a $2,400 guarantee or 15% of gross receipts. The proposer would
provide temporary structures for the concession operation, as
well as the necessary ,:later and electric supply at their own
expense.
The one-year agreement will allow the City to evaluate the
validity of a concession in this area before inviting long-
term bid proposals.
The Department of Public Facilities recommends the adoption of
the attached resolution, authorizing the City Manager to enter
into a one-year agreement with Marine Stadium Water Sports Inc.,
for the purpose of establishing a water -oriented concession
in the lagoon adjacent to the Rusty Pelican restaurant.
