RESOLUTION NO. 76-750
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO COMMENCE NEGOTIATIONS WITH BAYSHORE
PROPERTIES, INC. AND O, B. MILEY, II, CON-
CERNING THE ACQUISITION, LEASE AND RE-
DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE
MILEY PROPERTY FOR PARK AND RECREATIONAL
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Commission authorized the City
Manager to advertise for public bid proposals for the re-
development of the property commonly known as the Underwood
Marine Property for park and recreational pruposes; and
WHEREAS, eight bidders made proposals for the public
use of said property; and
WHEREAS, BAYSHORE PROPERTIES, INC„ in addition to
making a proposal for the Underwood Marine Property, made
an additional proposal for the property known as the MILEY

WHEREAS, the MILEY PROPERTY is needed for park and
PROPERTY; and
recreational purposes to complete the Dinner Key complex;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section l., The City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to commence negotiations with BAYSHORE PROPERTIES,
INC. and 0. B. MILEY, II, concerning the acquisition, lease
and redevelopment of the property known as the MILEY PROPERTY
for park, `and recreational,' purposes .
