A RESOLUTION .1.CCEPTING FROM `.CITE GOVERN-
MENT OF CHILE A BRONZE STATUE OF
BERNARDO O'HIGGINS, TO BE PLACED AT
BAYFRONT PARK ON SEPTEMBER 18, 1976,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
MAKE THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS FOR
ITS ACCEPTANCE AND PLACEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Miami hereby accepts from
the Government of Chile a bronze statue of Bernardo O'Higgins,
to be placed at Bayfront Park on September 1 , 1976.
Section 2. The City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to coa,,e thu necessary arrangements for its acceptance
and placement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of JULY
1976.
