A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE FIRM
OF PEAT, MARYdICK, MITCHEL & COMPANY, CExi'IFIED
PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING
THE AUDIT OF THE LOOKS, ACCOUNTING RECORDS AI JD
FINANCES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1976 THROUGH 1980, AT A COST
OF $30,000 FOR THE FIRST YEAR AND $50,000 FOR EACH
SUBSEQUENT YEAR.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CaTLISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to enter into
a professional service agreement with the firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell
& Company, certified public accountants, for the purposes of conducting
the audit of the books, accounting records and finances of the City of
Miami for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1976 through 1980, at a
cost of $30,000 for the first yeir and $50,000 for each subsequent year.
