RESOLUTION NO. 76-726
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF JULES BROTHERS
UNIFORMS FOR FURNISHING VARIOUS CITY DEPARTMENTS
WITH WORK UNIFORMS, AS REQUIRED, AT A UNIT COST,
FOR ONE YEAR FROM DATE HEREOF; AT A COST NOT TO
EXCEED $51,962.45; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE
1975-76 AND 1976-77 FISCAL YEAR BUDGETS; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE
IVEEDED.

FOLLOW"
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were
received June 24, 1976 for furnishing Work Uniforms on a
contract basis, as needed, for one year from date hereof for
use City wide; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to 34 potential suppliers
and 3 bids were received; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the
1975-76 and 1976-77 Fiscal Year Budgets; and
WHEREAS, Work Uniforms are issued, as needed, to various
departments throughout the City including Sanitation, Public
Properties, Parks and Recreation, Public Works and Public
Facilities; INDEX

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that tine bid received
from Jules Brothers Uniforms for furnishing Work Uniforms, City
wide, at a unit cost, as needed, should be accepted as it was
the most advantageous bid to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received from Jules Brothers Uniforms
for furnishing Work Uniforms, City wide, as needed, for one year
from the date hereof, is hereby accepted at the following unit
cost, at a cost not to exceed $51,962.45:

Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Department to issue Purchase
Orders, as required, with funds therefor hereby allocated from
the 1975-76 and 1976-77 Fiscal Year Budgets.
