A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF COLONIAL DODGE,
INC. FOR FURNISHING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
PROPERTIES WITH TWO DODGE DARTS AT A TOTAL COST
OF $7,318.82; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $3,659.41
FROM "PUBLIC PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
BOND FUND" AND THE AMOUNT OF $3,659.41 FROM
"CONVENTION BOND FUND"; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING

WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were
received March 15, 1976 for furnishing passenger cars, light
trucks and other vehicles for the Department of Public Properties;
and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to 58 suppliers and 15
bids were received; and
WHEREAS, funds have been allocated from the "Convention
Bond Fund" in the amount of $3,659.41 and from the "Public Parks
and Recreational Facilities Bond Fund" in the amount of $3,659.41;
and
WHEREAS, these vehicles are to be used by the Project
Director for the Convention Center and the Project Direc

WHEREAS, the City Manager and the DIENO.

Properties recommend that the bid received from Colonial
Dodge, Inc. for furnishing 2 Dodge Darts at a total cost of
$7,318.82 be accepted as it is the most advantageous bid to
the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received from Colonial Dodge, Inc.
for furnishing the Department of Public Properties with 2 Dodge
Darts at a total cost of $7,318.82 is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Department to issue Purchase
Orders for this equipment with funds therefor hereby allocated

A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING THE SUM OF $475,000
PROM THE PUBLIC PARRS AND RECREATIOrI
FACILITIES BOND FUND FOR THE BXPANSIOLZ
AND DEVELOPMENT OF WATSON PARK.
WHEREAS, Motion 75-1047, dated November 6, 1975
authorized the City Manager to proceed with the process
of ' solicitng for proposals for the development of Watson
Island in accordance with the process, concept, and
guidelines presented to the City Commission on November. 6,
1975; and
WHEREAS the sum of $475,000 is available from the
Public Parks and Recreation Facilities Bond Fund; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used for pre-
lirninary studies, surveys, ' •engineering activities,
economic studies, • salaries ,Lnd 'admlalsl:I:aL.ive.'•
costs, in accordance with the aforesaid Motion;
/COW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF fI II, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The sum of $475,000 be and it is hereby
allocated from the Public Parks and Recreation Bond Fend for
the expansion and development of j•;atsoa Park as a recreation
facility.

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 36153, passed November 18e 1964,
authorized bonds for. a Convention Center and Resolution No.. 40559,
passed April 10, 1969, authorized the sale of said bonds; and
WHEREAS, Motion No. 75-1092, passed. December 1, 1975,
authorized the City Manager to hire a Project Manager; and
WHEREAS, the sum of .$200,000 is available fro= the
Convention Bond Fund; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used for preliminary
studies, surveys, engineering activities, salaries and other
administrative costs, in accordance with the aforesaid Motion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED E': THE COYLMISSION OF

Section 1. The sum of $200,000 be and is hereby allo-
cated from the Convention Center Fund Lo cover the cost of
preliminary studies, surveys, engineering activities, salaries
and other administrative costs in accordance ':ith Motion No.
