RESOLUTION NO. 76-690
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED CON-
STRUCTION WORK PERFORMED BY MARKS BROTHERS
COMPANY AT A TOTAL COST OF $71,086 AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $7,108.60
FOR UNDER EXPRESSWAY PARKING - POLICE LOTS
(BID ITEMS A, C, & ADDITIVE ITEMS #1).
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated December 3,
1975 between the City of Miami and Marks Brothers Company; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Marks Brothers Company has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been paid
in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TTp000MMISSION OF
ITEM NO
Section 1. The completed construction work per ormed
by Marks Brothers Company for the UNDER EXPRESSWAY PARKING - POLICE
LOTS (BID ITEMS A, C, & ADDITIVE ITEM #1) at a total cost of
$71,086 is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized and directed to pay Marks Brothers Company,
after all conditions are met, a balance of $7,108.60 as full and
final payment for all work performed and all materials furnished
in connection with the UNDER EXPRESSWAY PARKING - POLICE LOTS
(BID ITEMS A, C, & ADDITIVE ITEM #1).
