RESOLUTION NO. 76-689
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY PRESCRIPTION ATHLETIC TURF,
INC. AT A TOTAL COST OF $244,500 AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $24,450 FOR
PRESCRIPTION ATHLETIC TURF INSTALLATION
FOR ORANGE BOWL STADIUM - PHASE I.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated March 10,
1976 between the City of Miami and Prescription Athletic Turf,
Inc.: and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Prescription Athletic Turf, Inc. has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract;
and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Prescrip-
tion Athletic Turf, Inc. for the PRESCRIPTION ATHLETIC TURF
INSTALLATION FOR ORANGE BOWL STADIUM - PHAS I at a total cost
of $244,500 is hereby accepted.

Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized and directed to pay Prescription Athletic
Turf, Inc., after all conditions are met, a balance of $24,450
as full and final payment for all work performed and all materials
furnished in connection with the PRESCRIPTION ATHLETIC TURF INSTALLA-
TION FOR ORANGE BOWL STADIUM - PHASE I.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of JULY ,
