A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DANIEL K. GILL
TO A 4-YEAR TERM AS A BOARD MEMBER OF
THE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY,
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1976.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. DANIEL K. GILL is hereby appointed
to serve as a Board Member of the DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY of the City of Miami, effective July 1, 1976,
for a 4-year term.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of JULY
1976.

DOWNTOWN: DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF MIA: I, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1976 AND
RECOMMENDING CITY COMMISSION CONFIRMATIO..
AND APPOL.TME: T.
WHEREAS, City of i».iami Ordinance c:o. 7370, as amended, provides that
the Downtown Development Authority of the City of Miami shall nominate
a successor to any vacancy which may oc-ur and submit that nomination
to the governing body of the City, for confirmation and appointment, and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the Authority and necessary that the
Authority nominate a successor to fill the vacancy created by the
expiration of the term of Daniel V. Gill.
IOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TEE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY OF TrE CITY OF MIAMI, TI AT:
1. The Hoard of the Downtown Development Authority of the City of Miami
hereby nominates Daniel K. Gill to fill the vacancy created by the
expiration of the appointment of hoard Member Daniel K. Gill on June 30,
1976, and
2. Said nomination shall be for a four year term, as provided in City
of Miami Ordinance :umber 7370, as amended, and
3. The Board of the Downtown Development Authority of the City of Miami
requests the Honorable Mayor- and Commissioners of the City of Miami to
confirm and appoint Daniel K. Gill to a four year term as Board Member
of the Downtown Development Authority of the City of Miami, Effective
July 1, 1976.

Dear Mr. Andrews:
1 am enclosing a certified copy of Resolution 76-09 which nominates
Daniel K. Gill to a four year term as Board Member of the Downtown
Development Authority, effective July 1, 1976.
Since Mr. Gill's term expires June 30th, it is important 'that this
matter be placed on the Agenda of the City Commission for confir-
mation and appointment at an c-.arly date.
Copies of this letter and Resolution 76-09 have been provided the
Mayor and Commissioners as well as the City Attorney.
