PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI
AND
THE FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY BOARD OF TRUSTEES on behalf of
FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY'S SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL AND PUBLIC
AFFAIRS, THE METROPOLITAN CENTER ("FIU MC")
This Amendment No. 2 ("Amendment") to the Professional Services Agreement dated August 28,
2018, (the "Agreement") between the City of Miami, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida
("City"), and The Florida International University Board of Trustees on behalf of Florida
International University's School of International and Public Affairs, The Metropolitan Center ("FIU
MC"), is entered into this 3r0 day of r-2bruti,t--f , 2020.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 18-0313, adopted July 26, 2018, the City
Commission authorized the execution of the Agreement with FIU MC to work with City staff on
the preparation of a City Affordable Housing Master Plan as more fully set forth in the Scope of
Work ("Scope") for the City's Department of Community and Economic Development ("CD").
WHEREAS, FIU MC has proposed a new "Work Deadline"; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the above referenced Agreement, this Amendment, when
properly executed, becomes a part of the Agreement; and
NOW THEREFORE, for the considerations hereinafter as set forth, the Agreement made
with FIU MC is hereby amended as follows:
1) Exhibit "A" Scope of Services of the Agreement, Section titled "Work Deadline" is
hereby deleted and replaced in its entirety with the following, to reflect a new "Work
Deadline".
Work Deadline:
All work must be completed and submitted to the City at different intervals; however,
the full Scope of Services and the City's. Affordable Housing Master Plan shall be due
on or before August 28, 2020.
All other terms, covenants and conditions of the original Agreement issued thereto shall
remain in full force and effect, except to the extent herein amended.
