FOR RENTAL OF A 50-TON AND 90-TON MOBILE CRANTE AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $22,000; WITH FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM BAYFRONT PARK FEDERAL GRANT NO. 04-31-0214. WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids Were received May 25, 1976 for the rental of heavy equipment for the Bayfront Park Project by the Parks and Recreation Department; and WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to 23 potential suppliers and 4 bids were received; and WHEREAS, funds for this project are budgeted by the Bayfront Park Federal Grant No. 04-31-0214; and WHEREAS, the equipment will be required approxi- mately 50 days for the beautification of Bayfront Park; and WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department recommends that the bid received from Floyd Landscaping Company for rental, as needed, of a Hydraulic Backhoe-Front end Loader at a cost not to exceed $2,000, and the bid of Russell Inc. for rental, as needed, of a 50-ton and 90-ton Mobile Crane at a cost not to exceed $22,000 be accepted as these were the most advantageous bids to the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED "BY THE �c MUIS.$,U®ItX OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: U U EN - 4."
