A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE I3ID OF J & J
ENTERPRISES I:; THIE AMOUNT OF $11,700.00,
FOR ELIZABETH VIRRICK PARK - BASKETBALL
COURT - 1976; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF
$11,700.00 PROM TI_E ACCOUNT ENTITLED
"PUBLIC PARKS & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
BOND FUND" TO COVER THE PROPOSED CONTRACT
COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE
AMOUNT OF $1 , 2 87 . 00 TO COVER THE COST OF
PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID
ACCOUNT THE MOUNT OF $234 . 00 TO COVER
THE COST OF SUCIi ITMS AS ADVERTISING,
TESTING LAi3ORATORIES AND POSTAGE; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received June 16, 1976 for the
construction of ELIZABET:i VIRRICK PARK - BASKETBALL COURT -
1976; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager re:.orts that the $11,700.00 bid
of J & J Enterprises is they lowest responsible bid and recom-
mends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account
entitled "Public Parks & Recreational Facilities Bond Fund" for
the proposed amount of the contract, for project expense, and
for such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage;

ITEM NO.
Section 1. That the June 16, 1976 bid of J & J Enterprises,
in the proposed amount of $11,700.00 for the project entitled
ELIZABETII VIRRICN PARK - DASKETBALL COURT - 1976, namely Base Bid
of Proposal, based on lump sum bid, be and the same is hereby
accepted at the price stated therein.
Section 2. That the amount of $11,700.00 be and is hereby
allocated from the account entitled "Public Parks & Recreational
Facilities Bond Fund" to cover the proposed cost of the contract.
Section 3. That the amount of $1,287.00 be and is hereby
allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of project
expense, which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work
peifof'tned.
Section 4. That the amount of $234.00 be and is hereby
allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of
such items as advertising, .testing laboratories, postage.
Section 5. The City I:anager is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract on behalf of the City of itiami with J & J Enter-
prises for the ELIZABETH VIRRIC.: PARK - BASKETBALL COURT - 1976.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8 day of JULY , 1976.
