PARKING FOR THE oiEkATION AND MAINTENANCE,
OP GUSMAN HALL AND THE:OLYMPIA BUILDING
0r THE CITY OE.MIAMI POR THE FISCAL YEAR
COMMENCING OCTOBE1. 1, 1976 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 301 1977, CONTAINING A SEVERABIL``
ITY CLAUSE AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES O.
PARTS or okDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,
WHEREAS, the City of. Miami. Charter requires that no
later than one month before the end of each fiscal year,
the Director of the Department of Off -Street Parking, with
the approval of the Off -Street, Parking Board of the City of
Miami, shall prepare and submit to the City Commission, a
budget estimate of expenditures and revenues for the ensuing
fiscal year for approval by the Commission; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8435 was adopted by the City Com-
mission.on July 31, 1975, authorizing the Off -Street Parking
Board of the City of Miami to administer the City facility.
known as Gusman Hall and the Olympia office building; and
WHEREAS, the Off -Street Parking Board has prepared and
submitted to the City Commission a separate budget estimate of
the Board's expenditures and revenues for the operation and
maintenance of Gusman Hall and the Olympia building for the
fiscal year 1976/77; and;
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and approved the
aforesaid separate operating budget;,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
Section 1, The appropriations made by the Department of
Off -Street Parking for the operation and, maintenance of Gusman
Hall and the Olympia building of the City of Miami, as set forth
in Schedule A attached hereto, for the fiscal year ending
September 30, t977 f are hereby approved . together With the
enumerated sources of revenue, as set forth in Sohedule b
attached hereto,.
Section 2, The Director of the Department of Off -Street
Parking is hereby authorized to make transfers between the.
detailed accounts comprising any of the amounts appropriated
in the budget, in order that available and unrequired balances
in any such accounts may be used for other necessary and proper
purposes.
Section 3: If any section, part of section, paragraph,
clause, phrase or word of this Ordinance shall be held to be
unconstitutional, or void,the remaining provisions of this.
Ordinance shall, nevertheless,remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances, insofar
as they are inconsistent with or in conflict with the provisions
of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:.
Section 1. The. 1976/77 Budget for Gusman Hall and the Olympia
Building in tho amount of $220,760 is hereby approved, and adopted.
Section 2. The Director is authorized to make transfers between
the detailed accounts comprising any of the amounts appropriated in the budget,
in order that available and unreruired balances in any such accounts may be
used for other necessary and proper purposes.
Sect ion 3. The Director is authorized to Create or abolish pos it ionS' -
whenever. it has been determined to be in the best interest of efficient and
economical of administration of Gusman Hall and'the Olympia Building.

WHEREISo Ordinance No.8435 was adopted by the City CommItSlon'on
July 31,,1975, ,authorising the OffmStreet Parking Board of the City of Miami
to administer the Faoility known as Gusman Hall andthe Olympia Offioe Buildingl"
and
WHEREAS, a budget is required in order to properly administer the
Facility; and
WHEREAS,. the City Commission shall hold a public hearing on the proposed
budget of Gusman Hall and the Olympia Building, at which any citizen or taxpayer
and any other interested person may appear in person or by agent or attorney and
present any objections he may have to the final adoption of such budget; and
WHEREAS, at least ten"(10) days before the hearing, notice of the time
and place of such hearing shall; be published once in a daily newspaper of general
circulation published in the City of Miami, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI ,
Section 1. The Commission of the City. of Miami, Florida, shall hold a
public hearing onthe proposed budget for the Gusman Hall and Olympia Building for
the fiscal year October 1, 1976 to September 30, 1977, and said public hearing
shall be held before the Commission of the City or Miami in the Commission Room,
1st floor, City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Dinner Key, Miami, Florida, at a
meeting to be held at 9:00 a.m. on June ?, 1976.
Section•2. The Off -Street Parking Board shall cause to be published a
notice of the public hearing, as provided in Section 1 hereof, in accordance, with
the above described City Commission Ordinance.
