A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE FEE FOR THE USE
OF WATSON ISLAND PARK ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 22,
1976, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SAN JUAN CATHOLIC
CENTER'S FUND RAISING BAZAAR; GRANTING PER-
MISSION FOR THE SALE OF FOOD AND NON-ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES; ¶iAIVING THE CITY'S RIGHT TO A PERCEN-
TAGE OF THE PROCEEDS FROM THE AFORESAID BAZAAR;
WAIVING THE FEE FOR THE USE OF THE SHOWMOBILE
PROVIDED THAT THE COST OF OPERATING PERSONNEL
IS BORNE BY THE USER; SUBJECT TO SAN JUAN
CATHOLIC CENTER OBTAINING PRODUCTS AND LIABILITY
INSURANCE AND NAMING THE CITY OF MIAMI AS AN
ADDITIONAL INSURED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The fee for the use of Watson Island
Park on Sunday, August 22, 1976, in connection with the San
Juan Catholic Center's Fund Raising Bazaar is hereby waived.
Section 2. Permission is hereby granted to San
Juan Catholic Center to serve food and non-alcoholic bever

at the aforesaid Fund Raising Bazaar.
Section 3. The City hereby waives its right to •
collect a percentage of the proceeds from the aforesaid Fund
Raising Bazaar.
Section 4. The fee for the use of the Showmowbile
in connection with the aforesaid Fund Raising Bazaar is hereby
waived, provided that the cost of operating personnel is borne
by the San Juan Catholic Center.
Section 5. San Juan Catholic Center must obtain
products insurance and liability insurance naming the City of
Miami as an additional insured.

1976.

Please be advised that our deparb•nent has tentatively
reserved the use of Watson Island and Showmobile for
Sunday, August 22, 1976 in connection with the San
Juan Catholic. Center's Fund Raising Bazaar.
However•, it. must be noted that there is a fee involved
for the use of the Shop;mobile (Ordinance No. 8539)
and Commission action is required for sanctioning a
fund raising event in a city park.
Upon approval by the Commission, please have a
representative from the San Juan Catholic Center
contact our office in order to complete the necessary
forms.
