A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF $700.00 FROM
THE CONTINGENCY FUND AS THE CITY'S SHARE OF THE
COSTS INVOLVED IN THE USE OF GUSMAN HALL BY THE
DADE COUNTY BOARD OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION FOR A
STUDENT PLAY "1776" TO BE SPONSORED BY "THIRD
CENTURY, USA."
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The sum of $700.00 is hereby authorized
to be paid to the Dade County Board of Public Instruction in con-
nection with the Board's use of Gusman Hall for the student play
"1776" to be presented July 8-16, 1976, and to be sponsored by
"Third Century, USA", said $700.00 constituting the City's
twenty percent (20%) pro rata share of the $3500.00 costs to
be borne by the promoters of said play and to be secured from
other sources including but not limited to local governmental
agencies.
