RESOLUTION NO.16-614
A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE RENTAL FEE FOR
USE OF MARINE STADIUM ON JULY 24 AND 25,
1976 FOR THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY'S
BICENTENNIAL ROWING REGATTA, SUBJECT TO
ADVANCE PAYMENT BY SAID ORGANIZATION OF
$460 DUE THE CITY, AND A FURTHER ADVANCE
ESCROW DEPOSIT OF $500 TO GUARANTEE
PAYMENT FOR EVENT PERSONNEL, ELECTRICITY,
CLEAN-UP SERVICES, INSURANCE, AND OTHER
DIRECT COSTS BORNE BY THE CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The rental fee for the use of Marine
Stadium on July 24 and 25, 1976 for the American Cancer
Society's Bicentennial Rowing Regatta is hereby waived,
subject to advance payment by said organization of $460
due the City, and a further advance escrow deposit of $500 to
guarantee payment for event personnel, electricity, clean-up
services, insurance, and other direct costs borne by the City.
