RESOLUTION NO. 76-608
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF M. H.
DETRICK CO. FOR FURNISHING THE DEPARTMENT
OF SANITATION WITHH INCINERATOR TILES AT
A TOTAL COST OF $12,215.72; WITH FUNDS
ALLOCATED FROM THE 1975-76 FISCAL YEAR
BUDGET.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received June 11, 1976 for furnishing incinerator tiles
for the Department of Sanitation; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to 12 potential
suppliers and one (1) bid was received as follows:

WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are allocated in
the 1975-76 Fiscal Year Budget; and
WHEREAS, this is a regular annual purchase and is
necessary for the replacement of deteriorated refractory tiles
in the City incinerator; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Sanitation recommends
that the bid of M. H. Detrick at a total cost of $12,215.72 be
accepted as the most advantageous bid to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The June 11, 1976 bid of M. H. Detrick
for furnishing the Department of Sanitation with incinerator
tiles at a total cost of $12,215.72 is hereby accepted; with
funds allocated from the 1975-76 Fiscal Year Budget.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17 day of JUNE
1976.
