HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-76-0595FOLLOW" FLORIDA: RESOLUTION NO. 76-595 A RESOLUTION APPROVING IN PRINCIPLE THE PLANNED USE REPORT FOR ENTITLEMENT PERIOD 7, JULY 1, 1976 - DECEMBER 31, 1976, FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF S4,318,522; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO HAVE THE PLANNED USE REPORT PUBLISHED AND SUBMITTED TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BY JUNE 25, 1976, AS REQUIRED BY FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING LAW AND REGULATIONS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, Section 1. Approval is given in principle to the proposed Planned Use Report submitted by the City Manager for the expenditure of the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds in the amount of S4,318,522. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to have the Planned Use Report published and submitted to the Federal Government by June 25, 1976, as required by Federal Revenue Sharing Law and Regulations. I 0EEt ENCt JUN i 6 1e FILE Planned Use Report, General Revenue Sharing for Entitlement Period 7, July 1, 1976 - December 31, 1976 (2) Enclosed is the proposed Planned Use Report for the Entitlement Period 7, July 1, 1976 - December 31, 1976, for the expenditure of $4,318,522 of general revenue sharing funds. I am also enclosing a resolution tor your consideration which would approve the Plan in principle and authorize me to publish and submit the report as required by Federal Revenue Sharing Law and regulations before June 25, 1976. This action is required for advertising purposes only. The City Commission will have final control of the programming of these funds through the budget process and the adoption of the annual budget ordinance.
