A RESOLUTION DENYING THE CHANGE OF ZONING
CLASSIFICATION FROM R-4 (MEDIUM DENSITY
MULTIPLE) TO R-3 (LOW DENSITY MULTIPLE), FOR
PROPERTIES FRONTING ON AND ADJACENT TO BISCAYNE
BAY FROM OSCEOLA CANAL TO, BUT NOT INCLUDING
THE MERCY HOSPITAL PROPERTY (HALISSEE STREET,
EXTENDED), ALL WITHIN THE COCONUT GROVE AREA OF
MIAMI.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its
meeting of March 10, 1976, Item No. 3, following an advertised
hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 11-76 by a 5 to 0 vote
recommending denial for change of zoning classification as herein-
after set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after careful
consideration of this matter, deems it advisable and in the
best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and
its inhabitants to deny a change in zoning classification as
iereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The request for change of zoning classi-
fication from R-4 (Medium Density Multiple) to R-3 (Low Density
Multiple), for properties fronting on and adjacent to Biscayne
Bay from Osceola Canal to, but not including the Mercy Hospital
Property (Halissee Street, extended), all within the Coconut Grove
Area of Miami be, and the same is hereby denied.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9 day of JUNE 1976.
