RESOLUTION NO. 76-565
A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE RENTAL FEE FOR THE
USE OF BAYFRONT PARK AUDITORIUM ON JULY 17,
1976, FOR THE ANNUAL POLICEMEN'S BALL, SPONSORED
BY THE MIAMI COMMUNITY POLICE BENEVOLENT
ASSOCIATION, SUBJECT TO PAYMENT FOR EVENT
PERSONNEL, INSURANCE, AND OTHER DIRECT COSTS
BORNE BY THE CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The waiver of the rental fee for the
Bayfront Park Auditorium on July 17, 1976, for the
Annual Policemen's Ball, sponsored by the Miami Community
Police Benevolent Association is hereby approved, subject
to payment for event personnel, insurance, and other direct
costs borne by the City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9TH day of JUNE

Dear Sir:
The Miami Community Police Benevolent Association is sponsoring their
Annual Policemen's Ball, Saturday, July 17, 1976. The designated site is
Bayfront Park Auditorium. Once again we are presenting scholarships to
three deserving Senior Students.
We are asking that we be put on the next City Coninission agenda.
Also, we are requesting that rental and Insurance fees be waived or reduced.
Your cooperation in this endeavor will be greatly appreciated.
