S PHONOGRAPHIC AND HOME APPLIANCES, REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONSOR PARTS THEREOF IN
9 CONFLICT INSOPAR AS THEY ARE IN CONFLICT:AND
CONTAINING A SEVERARILITY PROVISION.

WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory $oard at its
meeting of April 7, 1976, Item No. 2, ' following an advertised
13 hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAE 13-76 by a 5 to 0 vote (3

membersabsent) recommending an amendment to Article XII,
Local Commercial C-1 District, of the Comprehensive Zoning

Ordinance No. 6871 as hereinafter set forth; and

WHEREAS, the Commission deems it advisable and in
17 the best interest of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to
18 amend said ordinance as hereinafter set forth;
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF
20 THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami be and the same is hereby
amended by deleting subsection (16) of Section 1 of Article XII, Local
Commercial C-1 District, and substituting in lieu thereof a new
subsection (16) to read as follows:
(16) The sale and incidental servicing of Radio,
Television, Phonographic and Home Appliances,
provided that
27 (a) The servicing of all appliances shall be
confined to no more than rear one-half of
28the premises.
(b) The area of the building devoted to
29 service activity shall be effectively'
screened from the front'. portion of a
building so as to not beviewed from any
portion of the area of the building devoted
to sales or display.
(e) Areas. for service truc)Gs and loading and
unloading activites shall be properly
screened with walls or landscaping
from abutting residential areas.
