A RESOLUTION AdCEPTING THE COMPLETED
WORK PERt'ORMED By ORLANDO MENbEZ, INC.
AT A TOTAL COST OF $88070.02 AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $9,272.62
FOR ALLAPATTAH COMSTOCI{ PARK PAVILION
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated October 29,
1975 between the City of Miami and Orlando Mendez, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Orlando Mendez, Inc. has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Orlando
Mendez, Inc. for the construction of ALLAPATTAH COMSTOCK
PARK - PAVILION is hereby accepted at a total cost of $83,870.02.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami are hereby authorized and directed to pay Orlando
Mendez, Inc., after all conditions are met, a balance of
$9,272.62 as full and final payment for all work performed
and all materials furnished in connection with the construc-
tion of ALLAPATTAH COMSTOCK PARK - PAVILION.

1976.

Pavilion - Resolution Authorizing
Final Payment

ENCLOSURES:
Orlando Mendez, Inc. has completed the construction
of an open-air pavilion surrounded by terraces,
barbeque areas, connecting sidewalks and landscaping, and
extension of existing parking lot, including lighting and
landscaping at Allapattah Comstock Park, located on NW
18 Avenue and 27 Street.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the
completed work and authorize final payment, after all
conditions are met. The original contract amount was
$83,870.02, and it was completed on time.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS THE ADOPTION
OF A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $9,272.62 TO ORLANDO MENDEZ,
INC. FOR ALLAPATTAH COMSTOCK PARK - PAVILION.
