WHEREAS, rising costs to the City of Miami Recreational
Program have necessitated changing the structure for fees for the
use of recreational facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is essential that the fees as provided herein
be enforced as early as possible in order to provide adequate fund-
ing which is urgently needed to maintain order and harmony within
the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
Section 1. Subsections (a) and (c) of Section 39-5 of
the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, is hereby further
amended by changing the fee., schedules as provided therein and by
establishing new fee schedules as hereinafter set forth, to wit:
"Section 39-5 Same - Use charges.
The following charges are hereby established for
use of municipal swimming pools:
(a) The following charges shall be in effect
during all hours which the pools are open to the
public including those hours during which the Learn -
to -Swim program is conducted:
Residents .Nonresidents
(1)
Youth fees - thru

NOTE: The rental of a cabana, on an annual basis
shall entitle the user to 4 free admission
cards to the pool for use only by him or
her and by members of his or her household,
who must be identified and designated by the
user :at the time the rental agreement is
executed.
Use of all cabanas is subiect to such terms and
conditions as established bythe director of parks
and recreation.

Section 2, If any section, part of section, paragraph,

remaining provisions of this ordinance shall not be affected.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances,
insofar as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed,
