WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its
meeting of. March 10, 1976, Item No, 1, following an advertised
12 Hearing, adopted Resolution No. PA8'9-76 by a 6 to 0 vote (2
13 members absent) recommending an amendment to Ordinance No. 6871
14. as hereinafter set forth; and
15 WHEREAS, the Commission deems it advisable and ih the
16 best interest of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to amend

said Ordinance as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF. THE
CITY OFMIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami be, and the same is hereby
amended by adding Sub -Section (170-B) to Article XXV, Section 1,
22 establishing a zoned street width toread as follows:
23 (170-B) Shipping Avenue, Hibiscus to
Plaza Streets . . . ..15 feet
24 Section 2. All ordinances, code sections, or parts
25 thereof in conflict herewith, insofar as they are in conflict are
26 hereby repealed.
27 Section 3. Should any part or provision of this

Ordinance be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to, be
invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance
as a whole,

PETITION:
Amendment to Ordinance 1/6871, ARTICLE XXV, Section 1, by adding
sub -section (170-13) establishing a zoned street width to read as follows:
(170-B) S'aipping Avenue, Hibiscus to Plaza Streets
EXPLANATION_
Change of the zoned street width from 50 feet to 30 feet to allow utilization
of abutting lots. This street segment is not presently developed, Dade County
HUD will develop the street within the reduced right-of-way under the NDP
plan to facilitate neighborhood circulation.
APPLICANT:
City of Miami Planning Department: February 20, 1976.
PLANNING DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION:
APPROVAL: Public Works Department recommends and Plat and Street
Committee recommends.
PLANNING ADVISORY BOARD RECOMMENDATION:
APPROVAL, by 6-0 vote (2 members absent), on March 10, 1976.
CITY COMMISSION. ACTION:
