WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated June 1,
1975 between the City of Miami and Atlantic Foundation Co.,
Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Atlantic Foundation Co., Inc. has furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid con -

that the completed work be accepted and final payment made
to the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Atlantic
Foundation Co., Inc. for the construction of BICENTENNIAL
PARK - PHASE II - 1975 - PROJECT NO. 2 - SEAWALL, at a total
cost of $459,411.44 is herey accepted.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami are hereby authorized and directed to pay Atlantic
Foundation Co., Inc., after all conditions are met, a balance
of $62,511.44 as full and final payment for all work performed
and all materials furnished in connection with the construction
of BICENTENNIAL PARK - PHASE II - 1975 - PROJECT NO. 2 - SEAWALL.

Authorizing Final Payment
RLPERENCES:
ENCLOSURES.
Atlantic Foundation Co., Inc. has completed the
Improvements to the existing seawall on the south
and east sides of Bicentennial Park, including the
complete construction of sections of seawall at the
proposed Fishing Lagoons. Bicentennial Park is
located at the southeast corner of Biscayne Blvd.
and. Interstate Highway I-395, and includes the
triangular portion of the site known as Belcher Oil
Property. The project was completed at a total
cost or $459,411.44, which was within the contract
amount, and it was completed on time.
It Is now in order for the Commission to accept the
completed work and authorize final payment, after all
conditions are met.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS THE ADOPTION
OF A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK AND
AI)THHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $62,511,44 TO ATLANTIC
FOUNDATION CO., INC. FOR BICENTENNIAL PARK - PHASE II -
