FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF REID ACRES HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT ti-4349 IN REID ACRE HIGHWAY
PROVEMENT bISTRICT t-4349 AND REMOVING ALL
ENbING LIENS FOR THIS IMPROVEMENT NOT CERTI-
ED HEREBY.
WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami,
Florida, met on the 13th day of May, 1976, pursuant to due legal
notice of said meeting under Section 56, of the City Charter, as
amended, to receive all written objections to the confirmation
of the preliminary assessment roll for the cost of REID ACRES
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4349 in REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT H-4349 on the following streets:
NE 64 Terrace bet. NE 3 Avenue and NE 4 Avenue
NE 65 Street, bet. NE 2 Avenue and NE 2 Court
NE 67 Street, bet. NE 2 Avenue and the F.E.C. R.R.
NE 68 Street, bet. NE 2 Court and NE 3 Ave
NE 69 Street, bet. NE 2 Avenue and NE 4 Ave, South
NE 70 Street, bet. NE 2 Avenue and NE 4 Avenue
NE 2 Court, bet. NE 65 Street and NE 68 Street
NE 3 Avenue, bet. NE 64 Terrace and NE 71 Street
NE 4 Avenue, bet. NE 62 Street and NE 69 Street
NE 4 Avenue, bet. NE 70 Street and NE 71 Street
and
WHEREAS, no objections thereto by any person inter-
ested in, or affected by, said assessments were sustained by the
Commission, and said assessment roll appeared, in all respects,
regular and in accordance with the requirements and provisions
of the City Charter, as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION

Section 1. The prima facie assessments, as appor-
tioned and indicated on the preliminary assessment.roll for
REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4349 in REID ACRES HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4349 are hereby, in all things, confirmed
and sustained against any and all lots or parcels of ground
described therein.
Section 2. The sums and amounts assessed against
each of the lots or parcels of ground in said preliminary

assessment toll ate less than the amount that each of the said
lots or pardels of ground is especially benefited by said improve-
ment and that such amounts ate in proportion to the special
benefits that the property received.
Section 3. The total assessable Cost of said REID
ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4349 in REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT H-4349 in the amount of $62,653.98 is hereby
approved and confirmed.
Section 4. Any pending lien in REID ACRES HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4349 for highway improvements not appear-
ing in the preliminary assessment roll and not certified is
hereby cancelled and removed.

Assessment Roll
REFERENCES:
ENCLOSURES:
Construction of REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4349 in
REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4349 has been
completed and the Preliminary Assessment Roll for this
Improvement is ready to be presented to the Commission for
confirmation.
This Improvement consisted of full width asphaltic concrete
pavement, curb and gutter, and drainage structures in the
area of NE 62. Street to NE 71 Street between NE 2 Avenue and
NE 4 Avenue.
The rapid growth of the industrial area east of NE 2 Avenue and
South of NE 71 Street, with its resultant increase of truck
traffic, and on -street parking, made it necessary to provide
these street improvements.
A public hearing is scheduled for May 13, 1976 to hear objections
to the confirmation of the assessment roll. If no objections
are sustained it will be in order for the Commission to adopt
the resolution confirming the assessment roll.
A section has been included canceling and removing pending liens
placed against properties not benefited by the Improvement.
IF NO OBJECTIONS ARE SUSTAINED THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
RECOMMENDS THE ADOPTION OF THE ATTACHED RESOLUTION CONFIRMING
THE PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT H-4349.
