A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF INTERCOUNTY
CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,740,550.96 FOR BID "1 -A" OF PROPOSAL FOR
THE DELAWARE SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5390 C
(CENTERLINE SEWER) IN DELAWARE SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR -5390 C (CENTERLINE SEWER);
ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $1,740,550.96 FROM THE
ACCOUNT ENTITLED "SANITARY SEWER BOND FUNDS" TO
COVER THE COST OF THE CONTRACT; ALLOCATING FROM
SAID ACCOUNT THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $151,460.61
TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING
FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF
$24,811.43 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS
ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES AND POSTAGE;
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on April 8, 1976
for the construction of BID "l -A" DELAWARE SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT SR -5390 C (CENTERLINE SEWER) in DELAWARE SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR -5390 C (CENTERLINE SEWER); and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the
$1,740,550.96 bid of Intercounty Construction Corporation
is the lowest responsible bid and recommends that a contract

WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
be awarded to said firm; and
the account entitled "Sanitary Sewer Bond Funds" for the
amount of the contract, for additional Project Expense; and
for the additiona4 cost of such items as advertising,
testing laboratories and postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The April 8, 1976 hid of Intercounty
Construction Corporation in the amount of $1,740,550.96 for
the project entitled BID "I -A" DELAWARE SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT SR -5390 C (CENTERLINE SEWER) IN DELAWARE
CITY COMMISSION

SEWER), based on unit prices, is hereby accepted at the
price stated herein.
Section 2, The amount of $1,740,550.96 is hereby
allocated from the account entitled "Sanitary Sewer Bond Funds"
to cover the proposed cost of the contract.
Section 3. The additional amount of $151,460.61
is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of Project Expense: which includes engineering, surveys
and inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. The additional amount of $24,811.43
is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories and
postage.
Section 5. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Miami with
Intercounty Construction Corporation for BID "1 -A" DELAWARE
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR -5390 C (CENTERLINE SEWER) in
DELAWARE SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR -5390 C
(CENTERLINE SEWER).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of APRIL
1976.
