A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOP-
MENT FOR A PEDESTRIANIZATION OF "LITTLE
IIAVANA" PLANNING PROGRAM AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
THE GRANT AND EXECUTE THE NECESSARY CON-
TRACTS AND AGREEMENTS TO IMPLEMENT THE
PROGRAM UPON RECEIPT OF THE GRANT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to su'mit a Grant application to the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development for a Pedestri.anization of
"Little Havana" Planning Program.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to accept the Grant and execute the necessary contracts and
agreements to implement the program upon receipt of the
Grant.
