RESOLUTION NO.76-397.
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF
$126,549.00 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "SANITARY
SEWER BOND FUND", TO COVER THE FEES OF THE PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT FOR DESIGN, SURVEY AND INSPECTION
COSTS FOR THE PROJECTS (LISTED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS
RESOLUTION) CURRENTLY UNDER CONTRACT AND FUNDED BY
SAID "SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND" ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, it became necessary to take steps to reduce
the 1975-76 budgets of all City Departments due to a reduc-
tion in anticipated 1975-76 budget revenues; and
WHEREAS, an examination of the current fees received
by the Public Works Department for design, survey and inspec-
tion costs for projects financed by bond funds revealed that
said fees were lower than the fees for such work if this work
were to be performed other than by the Public Works Department;

WHEREAS, currently 10% of the contracu lice • oof projects
financed by bond funds is allocated by the City Commission by
resolution to pay the fees of the Public Works Department
for design, survey and inspection costs; and
WHEREAS, an increase in said allocation from 10% to 11%
of the contract price for projects currently under contract
and financed by bond funds will still place said fees at a
level lower than the fees for such work if performed other
than by the Public Works Department, but will satisfy the
aforementioned budget deficiency as it relates to the Public
Works Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. The additional amount of $126,549.00 is
hereby allocated from the
account entitled "Sanitary Sewer

Bond Funds" to cover the fees of the Pubic Works Department
for design, survey and inspection costs for the following
projects currently under contract and funded by said "Sanitary
Sewer Bond Fund" account:
