THEREOF IN CONFLICT INSOFAR AS THEY ARE IN CON..
FLICT; CONTAINING A SEVERA$ILITY PROVISION.
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act
of 1975 Chapter 75-257, LaWs of Florida, requires that a municipality.
shall exercise:such authority under ,the Act for the total area under
its jurisdiction upon the passage of an ordinance declaring its
intention to do so, and
WHEREAS, the said Act requires that all municipalities
shall prepare and adopt a comprehensive plan of the type and in the
same manner set forth'in said Act; and:
WHEREAS, the Miami City Commission by,Ordinance No. 8546
dated \pRil 29, 1976 has designated the Planning Advisory Board
of the City of Miami as the Local Planning Agency under the provisions
of said Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ,ORDAINED BY THE; COMMISSION OF. THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Miami declares its intention
exercise its authority under the provisions of Local Government:.
Comprehensive Planning Act of 1975 Chapter 75-257, Laws of Florida,.
for the total area under its jurisdiction by preparing and adopting,
a comprehensive plan or portion or portions thereof, of the type and
in the manner set forth in the Act, within the total corporate limits
of the City of Miami.
Section 2. Official copies of this Ordinance shall be
transmitted by the City Clerk to the Division of State Planning,
Department of Administration, 660 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee,
Florida 32304, and the South Florida Regional Planning Council, 1515
N.W, 167th Street, Miami, Florida 33169,
