Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood
ENCLOSURES:
Development Plan
Dr. David Wallace, principal in the firm of
Wallace, McHarg, Roberts and Todd, con-
sultants to the City of Miami for the Compre-
hensive Neighborhood Development Plan, will
present a status report on Phase II of the study
and its significant findings and preliminary
recommendations with particular emphasis on
housing strategies and economic development.
This 18 month study commenced in April 1975 and is divided into three phases.
Dr. Wallace presented the results of the Phase I - City-wide Overview on
October 9, 1975, to the Commission. His presentation today coincides with
the completion of Phase II - Neighborhood Concept Planning. The third phase,
City-wide Plan - is expected to be completed on schedule in October 1976.
City-wide public hearings before the Planning Advisory Board and City Com-
mission will commence shortly thereafter.
