Amendment to Ordinance No. 818
Itet Greens Fees at Melreese and
Miami Springs Golf Courses
HEFERENCES:
ENCLOSURES:
In order to make needed improvements on the City's Melreese and Miami
Springs Golf Courses, and because of the rising costs of materials and
labor, it is necessary to adjust the greens fees at the courses; keeping
them within competitive guidelines. This adjustment would increase the
revenue from these courses by $35, 000 per. year, and would allow for the
much needed improvements.
It is now in order for the City Commission to amend Ordinance No. 8183
revising golf greens fees at Melreese and Miami Springs Golf Courses to
increase revenue from these facilities.
To accomplish this, it is suggested the City offer a special summer rate
from May lst to November 30th, of $10 cart and green fees for two players.
With this summer rate the individual must use an electric golf cart.
