Re: PLACING OF A PLAQUE DEDICATED TO
JOHN FRITZ IN MELROSE PARK,
N.W. 25th AVENUE AND 30th STREET
Dear Mayor Ferre:
We respectfully request that the City
Commission approve allowing our Committee to
place a plaque in Melrose Park dedicating a
large flowering tree commemorating Arbor Day
in Miami.
Mr Fritz, reno,•lned nurseryman and land-
scape artist is the donor of Melrose Park
and was a hard-working member of our Commit-
tee for many years. It is our Committee's
wish that such a dedication and placing of
a plaque in Melrose Park be completed.
Please be advised that Melrose Nurseries
has agreed to pay all costs involved in this.
We would appreciate your having the City
Commission approve this at your next meeting,
which I understand will be on April 8th.
