Home My WebLink AboutR-76-0375"SRS/f1 4/1/76 RESOLUTION NO... 7G-375 A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF EBSARY FOUNDATION COMPANY, IN THE AMOUNT OF $81,162.25, FOR THE CURTIS PART{ =- BOAT RAMP 1975; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $81,162.25 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "PUBLIC PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND" TO COVER THE ESTIMATED CONTRACT COST: ALLO- CATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $8,927.50 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $1,623.25 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING I�ORATORIES, POSTAGE, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING THE �t U PPOR1�Y MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. r �^ L�..� �V WHEREAS, sealed bids were received December 23, 1975, for. the construction of CURTIS PARK - BOAT RAMP - 1975; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $81,162.25 bid of Ebsary Foundation Company is the lowest responsible bid and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "PUBLIC PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND" for the estimated amount of the Contract for Project Expense and for such items as Advertising, Testing Laboratories, Postage, etc.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY "DOCUMENT INDEX OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: ITEM N O Section 1. The December 23, 1975 bid of Ebsary Foundation Company in the estimated amount of $81,162.25 for the project entitled CURTIS PARK - BOAT RAMP - 1975, namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on unit prices, be and the same is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. Section 2. The amount of $81,162.25, be and it is hereby allocated from the account entitled "Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Bond Fund" to cover the estimated cost of the Contract. Section 3. The amount of $8,927.50, be and it is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of Project Expense which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work performed by City Forces.
