RESOLUTION NO, 7637
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DR, LUIS ALGARRA,
MRS, MARY BORDEN, REV, OEORGE A. GLADKY,
MRS, YVONNE JECK AND MR, HERBERT M, LEVINE
TO SERVE AS MEMBERS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
INTERNATIONAL FOLK FESTIVAL COMMITTEE,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Betty Hays Allen, Mrs. Heiette
Cavalcanti, Father Timothy Lynch and Mrs. Carlos Londono are
to 'e replaced as Mem'.'ers of the City of Miami International
Folk Festival Committee; and
WHEREAS, at a recent meeting of the City. of Miami
International Folk Festival Committee there was a unanimous'
recommendation of individuals to be appointed to serve on
said Festival Committee, which recommendation is implemented
,.,y the herein resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 13Y THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Festival Committee have unanimously recommended to the Miami City
Commission the appointment of the following persons to the Festival
Committee. Each is uniquely suited to aid in the Festival:

These nominees would replace bars. Betty Hayes Allen, Mrs. Heiette Cavalcanti
Father Timothy Lynch and Mrs. Carlos Londono whose local address is now
unknown and who is believed to have returned to his native Colombia. This
puts the number of members at 35 and it is our hope that not more than that
number will serve on the committee at any given time, since the size becomes -_
unweildy.
