HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-76-03698R1/fi 4/1/76 RESOLUTION NO, 76-y369 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF $2,400 FROM THE COMMUNITY AFFAIRS OFFICE THROUGH THE COMMUNITY TRUST FUND TO THE UNIVERSITY« OF MIAMI FOR SERVICES RENDERED FOR THE cITYMa OF MIAMI DAY CARE PROGRAM. DOCUMENTS FOLLOW" WHEREAS, during the first six (6) months of the Day Care Program's operation, several children displayed unappropriate symptoms; and WHEREAS, early screening and treatment of these children could prevent problems in their later school years; and WHEREAS, the Day Care staff could not provide this type of professional treatment; and WHEREAS, the University of Miami extended services to the Day Care Program for treatment of these children; and WHEREAS, funds are available from the Community Affairs Office through the Community Trust Fund; and WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends payment of $2,400 to the University of Miami for services rendered; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The payment of $2,400 from the Community Affairs Office through the Community Trust Fund to the University of Miami for services rendered for the City of Miami Day Care Program is hereby authorized. It is now in order for the City Commission to authorize payment of $2, 400 to the University of Miami for services rendered. THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION RECOMMENDS THE ADOPTION OF THE ATTACHED RESOLUTION. AHH/dc
