RESOLUTION No. 76-359
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND RATIFYING THE ACTION
OF THE CITY MANAGER IN ACQUIRING TWO LOTS CON-
TIGUOUS TO TH2 SITE OF THE CITY'S PROPOSED
DOWNTOWN CONVENTION CENTER, MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED AS LOTS 1 AND 2 OF AMES SUBDIVISION,
ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF, RECORDED IN
PLAT BOOK 13, AT PAGE 71, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS
OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA' IN A FORECLOSURE SALE
AT THE PRICE OF $140,000 WITH FUNDS ALLOCATED
FROM CONVENTION CENTER BOND FUNDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COPMRISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the action of the City Manager in
acquiring two lots contiguous to the site of the City's
proposed Downtown Convention Center, more particularly des-
cribed as:
Lots 1 and 2, of AMES SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 13, at Page 71, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
in a foreclosure sale at the price of $140,000.00 with funds
allocated from Convention Center Bond Funds, be and the same
is hereby approved and ratified.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3 day of APRIL , 1976.
