RESOLUTION NO. 76 328_
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF BELEN
JESUIT PREPARATORY SCHOOL FOR USE OF 824 S.W. 7TH
AVENUE ON APRIL 3RD AND 4TH, 1976, SUBJECT TO THE
REQUIREMENTS LISTED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS RESOLUTION,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The application of Belen Jesuit Preparatory
School for use of 824 S.W. 7th Avenue on April 3rd and 4th, 1976,
for a festival is hereby approved, sub ject to the following
requirements.
1. Such use shall not be established for a period exceeding
seven (7) days, nor shall any one location be used more often than
once a year;
2. The operators of the amusement rides shall obtain the
necessary licenses, permits and Certificates of Use.
3. Small tents shall be permitted only to carry on ride

4. The operators of the amusement rides will provide
activitie s.
separate sanitary facilities for both male and female patrons.
5. The operators and employees of the rides will not domicile
on the property.
6. No alcoholic beverages may be sold on the premises.
7. The City of Miami Police Department will be contacted
and the number of off duty policemen that the Department feels are
necessary to direct traffic and provide for security will be employed
by the permit holder.
8. Operations must conform to noise level requirements

The Belen Jesuit High School will hold its annual festival to raise
money for scholarships for needy students on April 3 and 4 on the
school grounds at 8th St. and 7th Ave. (S.W.). There will be no
carnival rides in the program.
We hope you will give the necessary approvals for us to proceed
with our project..
