INC., BUFFALO ROCK SHOOTERS SUPPLY, ZERO BULLET
COMPANY,MASZK'S WORKSHOP, INC., SOUTHERN GUN
DISTRIBUTORS, INC., AND JONES EQUIPMENT CO, RE-
CEIVED DECEMBER 8, 1975, FOR FURNISHING AMMUNITION
FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
SCHEDULE LISTED BELOW, AT A TOTAL COST OF
$16,028.20; FUNDS HAVING BEEN ALLOCATED IN THE
1975-76 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DIVISION
TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER THEREFOR,
WHEREAS, bids were received December 8, 1975 for furn-
ishing ammunition for the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are allocated in the
1975-76 Fiscal Year Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bids of
3-D Company, Inc., Buffalo Rock Shooters Supply, Zero Bullet
Company, Maszk's Workshop, Inc., Southern Gun Distributors,
Inc., and Jones Equipment Co. for furnishing said ammunition
at a total cost of $16,028.20, in accordance with the schedule
listed below, be accepted as the bids most advantageous to

Invitations were mailed to twenty-six potential suppliers and eight (8)
bids were received as follows:

Zero Bullet Company $12,302.50
3-D Company, Inc. $ 8,665.00
Tamiami Gun Shop $28,341.25

A detailed tabulation is attached hereto.
Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 1975-76 Fiscal Year Budget.
This material is a regular purchase to replace ehpended and expired aTrnuni-
tion, replenish emergency reserve supply and for training.
The Police De; art":ent's arrunition requirements have changed since the Invita-
tion to bid was prepared. Accordingly, the request for awards is rrade for
lesser quantities of sans items.
It is requested that the award be rrac e and a resolution he prepared accept-

Item 05 in the amount of $1,596.00, and Item 015 in the amount of
$132.00. Item No. 4 is no longer needed and Tamiami Gun Shop has been
disqualified on items 05 and 015 due to unsatisfactory performance on
prior purchases.
Maszks VOrkshop, Inc. was the second lowest bidder on Item 05 in the
amount of $1,611.75 and Jones Equipment Co. was the second lowest
bidder on Item 015 in the amount of $141.60.
All other items are the lowest bids received.
Items 4, 8, 9, and 13 as shown on the Bid Tabulation are no longer
needed by the Police Department and are therefore deleted from the
award request.
The Department of Police concurs with this recommendation.

City of Miami Budget 75-76-24, ammunition for the Police Department.
This material is a regular purchase from annual budget monies for the Police
Department to replace expended and expired ammunition, replenish emergency
reserve supplies, and for training.
After careful review of the quotes and vendors by the Rangemaster of the
Police Department, I recommend the below listed vendors he awarded purchase
orders for the respective item numbers corresponding to quantity and descrip-
tion of the bid sheet.
With the exception of Item 11, a four part shipment request, all items should
be delivered within 90 days or purchased from another vendor.
