RESOLUTION NO, 76- 4
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING CERTAIN CERTIFICATES OF
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY ISSUED UNDER THE PROVIS-
IONS OF CHAPTER 56 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, Section 56-25 of the Code requires the assent
and approval of the City Commission for the transfer of a
Certificate of Convenience and Necessity issued under the
provisions of Chapter 56 of the Code, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department recommends transfers of
Certificates of Convenience and Necessity as contained in
Section 1 of this resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE

Request a resolution be prepared by the Law Department
for transfer of Certificates of Public Convenience and
Necessity for the Semi -Annual Taxicab hearing March 4th,
1.976.
The Police Department recommends the following transfers

None of the above transfers will increase the number
of taxicabs currently certified to ply the streets.
of Miami, nor will they increase the number of jitneys
certified to ply the streets of Miami.
Further, request a resolution be prepared by the Law
Department for revocation of Resolution 74-1240
that was issued to Miami Mini Aliados Inc. (Henry
Pino) for operation of eight (8) mini buses
reference Sec. 56-18 of City Code. These mini buses
have not been in operation since Nay 1975. Aforementioned
Sec. 56-18 states:"Every certificate issued pursuant to
this article shall be subject to revocation by the city
commission where it appears that the operator has failed
or neglected, for a period of eight months during any
calendar year, to render the full service authorized by
the certificate".
Also request revocation of Certificate C-596 issued
to Clifford Yocum for operation of private school bus.
Annual franchise tax of $ 150.00 has not been paid.
Reference is again made to Sec. 56-18.
Request resolution for permanent status of Resolution
72-687 authorizing increase of passengers from 10 to
lit in jitneys operating in the City of Miami which was
granted for a period of one year Oct. 26, 1972, but has
never been placed on a permanent basis, hence the
present request for resolution for permanent status of
increase in passenger number.

visions of Chapter 56 of the CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
1967, shall remain the obligation of Transferor and present
Certificate Holder; that regardless of any or all money payments,
liens, escrow funds, powers -of -attorney, leaseholds or other
arrangements, financial or otherwise, between myself and D. & L. Corporation
the City of Miami may alter, suspend or revoke the
above Certificate without objection, recourse, or claim of personal
hardship on my part; that if I commit, or neglect to do, any act
