It's a time and place for we, the representatives of the Home Furnishings Industry, to renegotiate
our contract with destiny

PLAZA MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION HAVE UNITED TO CO-SPONSOR THIS GALA EVENT. WE
WANT, WE NEED, AND WE VALUE YOUR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION.
Our Bicentennial Pageant will encompass elements of all these functions on a grand, inspirational
and patriotic scale. We have something memorable and of personal interest to all attending.
• Band concerts. parades. dramatizations and diversions ..
• Happenings of Revolutionary re -creations .
• Exhibits by established artists representing all media in the field of art.
• Ethnic and native food concessions. .
• Valuable prizes donated by our merchants .. .
• Amusement areas for youngsters' entertainment and enjoyment .. .
• Fashion shows of designs created by M'LITA, the famous international designer, utilizing
Home Furnishings Fabrics . .
• Demonstrations and displays of Crafts.
• Some 100 Designers' Showrooms will be open during the festivities for idea inspirations ..

Florida's contribution includes the special role Miami will play in this nation's celebration. Chosen as
one of four cities to play a national role; Miami symbolizes the young and growing metropolis
shaping our national and professional future. As citizens of this fastest growing major state we
should take pride and pleasure in participating in this ONCE IN A LIFETIME CELEBRATION.
