RESOLUTION NO. 76-276...
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND RATIFYING THE ACTION
OF THE CITY MANAGER IN OBTAINING AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT OF $1,310 TO TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC. FOR
TESTS FOR PARTICULATE EMISSION FROM THE NORTH
STACK AT THE 20TH STREET INCINERATOR.
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Environmental
Regulation met with the City Manager on October 30, 1975 to
discuss the operation of the 20th Street Incinerator; and
WHEREAS, at this meeting The Department of Environmental
Regulation requested the City to perform Particulate Emission
Tests at the 20th Street Incinerator, and informal bids were
requested by the City Manager and tests were performed on
January 9, 1976 by Technical Services, Inc., the bid most
advantageous to the City; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from Pollution
Control and Incinerator Facilities Bond Fund;
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
ITEM NO.
Section 1. The action of the City Manager in authorizing
Particulate Emission Tests from the North Stack at the 20th
Street Incinerator is hereby confirmed and ratified.
Section 2. The amount of $1,310.00 is hereby allocated
from the account entitled Pollution Control and Incinerator
Facilities Bond Fund for Particulate Emission Tests from the
North Stack at the 20th Street Incinerator.
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the purchasing agent to issue a purchase order for
$1,310,00 to Technical Services, Inc. for Particulate Emission

PERTINENT INFORMATION
A. The State of Florida Department of Environmental Regulation
met with the City Manager on October 30, 1975 to discus the
operation of. the 20th Street Incinerator.
B. At this meeting The Department. of Environmental. Regulation
requested the City to perform Particulate Emission Tests at
the 20th Street Incinerator. Informal bids were requested
by the City Manager and tests were performed on January 9,
1976 by Technical Services, Inc., the lowest responsive bidder.
C. Funds are available for allocation from "Pollution Control and
Incinerator Facilities Bond. Fund".
ACTION TO BE TAKEN
1. Confirm and ratify the action of the City Manager in authorizing
Particulate Emission Tests from .the North Stack at the 20th
Street Incinerator.
2. Allocate the amount of $1,310 from the account entitled
"Pollution Control and Incinerator Facilities Bond Fund" for
Particulate Emission Tests from the North Stack at the 20th
Street Incinerator.
3. Authorize the City Manager to pay the amount of $1,310 to
Technical Services, Inc. for Particulate Emission Tests from

The State of Florida Department of Environmental
Regulation met with the City Manager on October 30,
1975 to discuss the operation of the 20th Street
Incinerator.
As a result of this meeting the City was requested to
perform Particulate Emission Tests. Informal bids
were received and Technical Services, Inc. performed
the tests. from the North Stack at the 20th Street
Incinerator for a fee of $1,310.
Funds are available for allocation for these tests
from the account entitled "Pollution Control and
Incinerator Facilities Bond Fund".
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECOMMENDS THE ADOPTION
OF A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND RATIFYING THE ACTION OF
THE CITY MANAGER TO AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF $1,310 TO
TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC. TO TEST FOR PARTICULATE EMISSION
