A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF DADS COUNTY; PLORIDA TO
WAIVE ALL RENTAL PEES FOR THE USE OF THE
DADE COUNTY AUDITORIUM FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONDUCTING A MARATHON COMMUNITY APPEAL FOR
ASSISTANCE TO AID THE VICTIMS OF THE RECENT
EARTHQUAKES IN THE COUNTRY OF GUATEMALA AND
FURTHER ALLOCATING THE SUM OF $1,000 FROM
THE CONTINGENCY FUND OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
TO BE EXPENDED BY THE CITY MANAGER, AS
NECESSARY, FOR PROMOTIONAL EXPENSES IN
CONNECTION WITH THE AFORESAID MARATHON
COMMUNITY APPEAL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of
Dade County, Florida, be and it is hereby requested to
waive all rental fees for the use of the Dade County Auditorium
for the purpose of conducting a Marathon Community Appeal for
assistance to aid the victims of the recent earthquakes in
the Country of Guatemala.
Section 2. The sum of $1,000 be and is hereby
allocated from the Contingency Fund of the City of Miami
to be expended by the City Manager, as necessary, for
promotional expenses in connection with the aforesaid
Marathon Community Appeal.

1976.
