A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN SCOPE
OF $89, 477, 00 IN THE CONTRACT WITH Ivi, R. HARRISON
CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION FOR THE BICENTENNIAL
PARK - PHASE II - 1975 (COMBINED PROJECTS NO. 3 & 4
- UTILITIES, SITE DEVELOPMENT, LANDSCAPING &
IRRIGATION) - 2ND BIDDING, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A SENSORY GARDEN.
WHEREAS, sufficient monies exist in the cash allowance of the
contract to fund this increase in scope; and
WHEREAS, the City has awarded a contract to M. R Harrison
Construction Corporation in the amount of $3, 473, 000. 00 for the
Bicentennial Park - Phase II - 1975 (Combined Projects No. 3 & 4 -
Utilities, Site Development, Landscaping & Irrigation) - 2nd Bidding:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. An increase in scope of $89, 477. 00 is hereby
authorized in the contract with M. R Harrison Construction Corporation
for the Bicentennial Park - Phase II - 1975 (Combined Projects No. 3 & 4 -
Utilities, Site Development, Landscaping & Irrigation) - 2nd Bidding, for
the construction of a Sensory Garden.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4 day of r1ARCH , 1976.
