A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE NOMINATION OF H. GORDON W VLLIE
TO SERVE AS A MEMBER OF THE OFF" STREET PARKING BOARD OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, PLORIDA
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Off'Street Parking Board due to
the resignation of Mr. Russell A. Jones whose resignation was accepted by the
Off -Street Parking Board; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to fill this vacancy for an unexpired term
of office ending December 2, 1977; and
WHEREAS, H. Gordon Wyllie, Chairman of the Board of Southeast Proper-
ties, Inc., was approved by the Off -Street Parking Board at their January 26,
1976 meeting by their Resolution No.76-519; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wyllie is acquainted with Miami's growth and has inter-
ested himself in community affairs; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wyllie is Vice President of the Florida Chapter of the
National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wyllie is a member of the F1o�rjid����i,Ie� Ra4II ie;

WHEREAS, Mr. Wyllie is familiar with parking problems in/the community,
is an outstanding citizen of exemplary character, and it will be in the best
interests of the City of Miami that this nomination be confirmed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1.. The nomination of H. Gordon Wyllie to serve as a member
of the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, pursuant to
Section 23-A.1 of the City of Miami Charter, to fill the unexpired term of
Russell A. Jones, ending December 2, 1977, is hereby confirmed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4 day of MARCH ,1976.
