WHEREAS, bids were received November 7, 1975 for furn- ishing two Boccie Courts at Legion Memorial Park for the Parks and Recreation Department; and "DOCUMENT NOEX WHEREAS, funds are available for alloc�� ri4 om 1. Park and Recreation Bond Fund; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of Sunset Enterprises, Inc., for furnishing said two Boccie Courts at Legion Memorial Park, at a total cost of $6,892.00, be accepted as the bid most advantageous to the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid of Sunset Enterprises, Inc. received November 7, 1975, for furnishing two Boccie Courts at Legion Memorial Park, at a total cost of $6,892.00, for the Parks and Recreation Department is hereby accepted. Section 2. Funds are hereby allocated from the Park and Recreation Bond Fund. Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order therefor. Invitations were mailed to thirteen (13) potential suppliers and three (3) bids were received as follows: Sunset Enterprises, Inc. $6,892.00 C. & W. Unlimited $7,700.00 Aries Marine Construction Inc. $7,950.00 Funds for this purchase are available and are to be allocated from the Park and Recreation Bond Fund. The to boccie courts are to be installed at T.gionl,rrorial Park because the citizens in the immediate area requested them as an improvement under the Bond program. It is requested that the award be 'rade and a resolution be pre- pared accepting the lowest bid as received from Sunset Enter- prises Inc. of Miami at a total cost of $6,892.00.
